Cronulla Sharks, Football Stadium, Captain Cook Drive

Public And Community Sporting And Leisure

Jones Nicholson provided multi-discipline design for the construction of a new 1300 seat grandstand that is located at the southern end of the Cronulla Sharks NRL football field. A function space and associated amenities was provided beneath the tiered seating for both game day and other functions. The stand includes several corporate boxes along with weather protection to all spectators.

As the site was originally a land fill site, a methane and carbon dioxide venting system was incorporated into the design to remove toxic gases from below the grandstand.
