Jones Nicholson were responsible for an iconic refurbishment/transformation of an old library (former church) and adjacent community hall into a fine dining restaurant and boutique shops. The old community hall was converted into a restaurant, including a standalone steel and glass framed bar, while a new mezzanine was fitted within the existing church.
A modern two-storey concrete and steel addition was built at the rear of the property, with generous open spaces and large cantilevers. The architectural design of integrating original features with modern construction posed numerous engineering challenges, which were overcome by utilising innovative construction methods and materials.
