Tarago Cullulla Bridge

Jones Nicholson became involved in this project after concerns were raised about the existing three span timber girder structure was experiencing a very heavy traffic load from the neighbouring quarry. After inspection and analysis, the existing bridge was found to be structurally inadequate. Subsequently, a temporary access road was provided through the creek and construction of a new two lane three span bridge over Mulwaree River commenced. The piles are pre-cast hollow spun concrete and socketed in bedrock. Pre-cast headstocks support the deck which is constructed with modular planks supplied by Roda.

Jones Nicholson has since undertaken further work in the inspection and rating of existing bridges for Goulburn Mulwaree Council.
